Sara was initially drawn to yoga in her late twenties due to feeling stressed and anxious and after a few years it became more than just a physical outlet, as it brought awareness and stillness to her mental and spiritual state. Through yoga practice Sara has discovered that she is able to lead a content and connected life, and can help others to do the same.
Sara has undergone 200 hours of Yoga teacher training in Thailand and further developed her practice with restorative teacher training under Anna Ashby of Triyoga a couple of years later. In August 2020 Sara completed her Total Yoga Nidra Training under Uma Dinsmore - Tuli. This enables Sara to offer bespoke yoga Nidras for stress, sleep, anxiety, spirituality and creativity, the list is in fact endless.
For Sara, yoga is not just asana practice. Sara teaches yoga as it was meant to be taught. With asana to calm the body, pranayama (breathing) to calm the mind and meditation, mantra and yoga Nidra practice to access our full potential.
Sara is proud to be able to offer her students the full experience of yoga and her classes reflect this, even integrating some CBT skills.
Sara continues to develop her yoga practice and will always be a lifelong yoga student and practitioner at heart.
